Once again our voices will sing and our beautiful music will resound to calm the soul, bring hope to the oppressed and praise our Lord Jesus. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, where he began to pick up the guitar at the age of 8 and his love of bluegrass music began.
In 1952 he enlisted in the US Navy and served as a third-class signaller until his honourable discharge in 1956. He received his bachelor's degree in music from the University of Ohio and his master's degree in music from Ohio State University.
In 1959, he began his career as a teacher at Miamisburg Middle School, where he was employed until his retirement in 1992. His skills as a sniper were recognised, as he represented Mound in numerous shooting competitions. He was awarded first place in the National Rifle Association (NARAA) of the Ohio State Rifle and Pistol Association in 1972 and 1987.
He lived a blessed life and left this world at home with sacrifices, surrounded by his family and cherished memories. He may be sad and heartbroken, but he has kept his heart and soul alive, cared for those in need, and kept his eyes open to those who needed him. Although he was the last of his seven siblings, they are all back together and are experiencing an unknown happiness once and for all.
